"Mauli has changed the way we create templates"
Mauli 2.3 is a new concept from us that is going to be the new way we create templates from now on. Once you have Mauli installed you will be able to customize it by yourself or with plug-ins from us without going too deep in to the codes, and the best of all is that you will be able to do this on a live store and anytime you want without any major downtime. We have changed a lot features to make it easier for you to customize the template for your needs. This is done very carefully to keep the codes as close to the original as possible. We have also included our own modules Mindsparx admin v5, Mindsparx specials 1.2 and starproduct pimped.
Almost all visuals are moved to the stylesheet so that you can change all boxes individually, that means if you want to change the top color of one of the info boxes and only that box you can do that with ease. Everything you see in the demo is included and the site is multilingual.
We know how important search engines are, This template is validated at W3C (click on the footer icon in demo) and we are pushing the important content as high as possible (see source code)

Why is Mauli different from other templates?
We have been working with osCommerce since 2002. Back then we added the graphics directly in to the codes. This is no problem for the ones doing this, but for someone who´s not familiar with your codes, this can be a nightmare. Most of our templates have their own layout folder and stylesheet so that you can change it more easily, but…
With Mauli we have taken this further
Now with the new 2.3 version of osCommerce things looks much, MUCH better. First of all the new version is built around CSS with makes it possible to move most of the graphics to the stylesheet without messing up the original codes to much, which is good for future updates. We have done this with almost every element of the template. Just with one file you can change the whole look and feel of the template. The picture below demonstrates how we under less than a minute has changed all the hedings of the infoboxes do a darker look and removed the big header image…
And here is the same template with a light look and a header image (The header image is not included in the template but will be available as a module) we have also changed the icon in the whats new box to a green icon that’s included in the template. Note that we have removed the searchfield and added the quick buttons in the header. We will show how its done in our forum.
And here we have changed the orders of our middle boxes Mindsparx specials and starproduct pimped and pushed down the what’s new box to the bottom of the page. You can see how it’s done in our forum.
What we want to show you is that almost everything visual can be changed easily thanks to the way this template is designed, want to move the search field to where all the right navigation buttons is?, sure takes a minute and we will show you how its done, see picture below…
